  1. Thank you Jessica. Hearing your voice speaking words of comfort, caution and spiritual education is a rich, wonderful experience. Praying with you at my desk in my room at the police college feels like church!

I was one of the sweltering souls, standing on the lawn of Parliament Hill yesterday, at the memorial service for fallen police and peace officers. I experienced church there too. Hymns, prayers and meaningful messages from the steps of Centre Block.

Only a good speaker, whether they are a politician or a preacher, can turn a crowd into a community with words of hope, love, and welcoming – God’s words.

    1. I am so glad we could start the day together in prayer in our different locations! Thank you for these words and for the work you are doing, training peace officers for our communities.
What a day for the memorial at Parliament Hill. I hope everyone made out ok. It sounds like it was a a truly sacred space for grief, hope, and calling to intermingle with the Spirit of love.
      Have a wonderful week ahead!
